Here we are with yet another update as we continue moving forward with our plan to make AVO into a truly competitive All-in-One Betting Companion. Now, what kind of all-in-one product would we be if we didn't have MIDDLES and LOW HOLDS or even a FREE BET CONVERTER? Well, that's what this update is all about! Before we dive into the new stuff, we must preface this with a few things. First, this update is relatively minor compared to the previous 1.5 update in terms of features. I don't say that in the sense that these aren't great new features, but that we'll be releasing more stuff throughout this week as it was a bit too much to fit into a single release. So later this week we will be addressing a LONG list of bugs that we've been collecting as well as an even LONGER list of sportsbook requests.
That being said, we're not 100% sure if this will be the last major update to the current dashboard before we begin building 2.0. The plan was to finish off with an Odds Screen and automatic bet tracking (and perhaps a revamp of the bet tracking stats in general) but given the current layout of the dashboard, it's getting more and more difficult to find the space. Regardless of that we'll be sure to let you all know in the near future if we decide to push for one more major update (1.9?) on this dashboard or if we decide to go ahead with the 2.0 construction (which will take at least 1-2 months).
Now onto the update:
We've finally added a middles tool with a setting for selecting the gap width. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Middles, they're essentially an like arb, except you can win both bets! An example would be a bet on FD showing Total Points Over 24.5, and a bet on DK showing Under 25.5 total points. If the total points are exactly 25, you win both bets! If it isn't, you just get your money back. It's like buying a raffle ticket.
We hated the name low holds, so we decided to call it something a bit more descriptive. The Money Mover tool is a great way to move funds from one sportsbook to another, without the need to withdraw. We'll find you books with the same odds (sometimes it's even a slight arb) so you can safely transfer money from one book to another (think of an arb with +800/-800 odds). The Money Mover is also great for quickly racking up playthrough requirements for certain books as well as helping with obtaining VIP status on others. Some books have nice perks like vacations and bonus credits but they require you to "wager" X amount of money first. The Money Mover tool will let you seamlessly build up your rewards points without risking any capital.
Additionally, we've added some custom settings for it such as:
-Choosing the "From Book"
-Amount to move
-From Odds min/max
-To Odds min/max
We checked around quite a few competitors and nobody seemed to have any customization settings for this
The plugin has been updated to version 1.2 which will be included in this message. This update simply allows you to use the link opening modes on the new tools we've added. I will be making a dedicated channel for it this week which will include a tutorial video for installation.
The manual has now been fully updated for all sections of the dashboard, as well as the plugin.
I've added a forum section in the discord called 📖・book-reviews with a post for each of the books we have. This is for anyone to leave a review of that book outlining their experience with it. If you think you have information about a book that would be useful to others, feel free to write a review! This space is all about sharing knowledge and it's hard to find decent info online about how certain books are with limits, withdraws, bet voiding, etc. We think that we can build out a really dense encyclopedia of sportsbook data that would be useful to everyone! However, it can only happen with your participation!
That's it for now! We've gone ahead and updated the mobile site so that those users can enjoy the new features as well! Let us know if you encounter any bugs and we'll try to resolve them as fast as we can! We did manage to fix a couple of small bugs regarding custom filters but the rest will come this week.
