The wallet allows you to add and manage your sportsbook accounts as well as your money apps (Cash). Bet settings, sportsbook customization, and bankroll tracking can also be found within the wallet.
When using the AVO Dashboard for the first time, you'll need to set up the wallet before arbing.
To do this:
Click the plus + icon in the top right corner
Select the sportsbooks/wallets you have access to
Click 'Done' on the screen directly below the wallet
Next, we'll need to add the balance/owner of each sportsbook:
Left Click on a sportsbook
Enter the amount of money on the sportsbook as well as the name of the owner
Click the back arrow (your inputs will automatically save)
If you've added a sportsbook by mistake, Left Click the sportsbook icon from the main page of the wallet, then click the trashcan icon on the top right followed by "Delete".
Now that we've added our sportsbooks and correctly balanced them, we need to activate them to begin seeing arbs.
Right Click a sportsbook icon to turn it ON/OFF
When a sportsbook is turned ON, arbs correlating to that book will be shown in the arb panel
When a sportsbooks is turned OFF (icon is dimmed), arbs correlating to that book will NOT be shown in the arb panel
The sportsbook settings allows you to set the default bet amount, default rounding, and state location. There are two ways to access the settings:
Click the gear icon ⚙️ on the top right of the calculator
OR
Click the default bet/rounding display
Once in the settings menu, you can adjust the default bet amount as well as the default rounding. Choosing your state will filter sportsbooks that are available in your location.
This is the largest amount of money that will be placed on one side of a bet. The other side will never exceed this amount.
Example #1: Default bet is set to $500, an arb appears with odds of -110 and +130, $500 will be placed on the -110 side and $415 will be placed on the +130 side for a profit of $39.50
Example #2: Default bet is set to $500, an arb appears with odds of +105 and +120, $500 will be placed on the +105 side and $466 will be placed on the +130 side for a profit of $59.00
This is the amount that wagers will be rounded to. Choose between rounding to nearest $1, $5, $10, or none.
Bet Rounding $1: A bet of $589.04 will be rounded to $589, A bet of $535.78 will be rounded to $536
Bet Rounding $5: A bet of $314 will be rounded to $315, A bet of $302 will be rounded to $300
Bet Rounding $10: A bet of $602 will be rounded to $600, A bet of $608 will be rounded to $610
It's recommended that you use one of the rounding options as sportsbooks will flag/limit accounts that are making exact bets (i.e. $102.45) as it's usually indicative of arbitrage betting.
The General Settings also contain a dropdown menu for selecting your location. This correlates to where the sportsbook links will redirect you.
You can also set custom default bet/rounding amounts for individual sportsbooks. This is useful for when you want to use lower/higher amounts on a specific sportsbook, while the rest are using the general default amounts.
To set custom amounts:
Left Click on a sportsbook icon in the wallet
Select 'custom' for the bet amount
Fill in the bet amount in the entry box
For bet rounding, select a custom rounding amount or leave it at default
Click 'Save'
Additionally, there is a setting at the bottom called "Odds Display". This is a very useful feature for books that are known for limiting players very quickly.
All will display both positive and negative odds for that book in arbitrage opportunities
+ Odds will display ONLY positive odds on this book (favored to lose)
- Odds will display ONLY negative odds on this book (favored to win)
If you're using a book that is prone to limiting players, setting that book to + Odds will help in extending the life of it before getting limited.
The bottom screen of the wallet allows you to view your total available balance, pending profit, total profit for the day, and total amount wagered.
Left Click the text on the left side of the screen to cycle through the options
After completing the setup for the wallet, you'll see your balance under each sportsbook. As you place bets and track them, the amounts will be subtracted from the balance under each sportsbook. If a sportsbook balance goes under the default/custom bet amount, it'll turn red to indicate that it's low on funds.
